Practice the perfect meeting point

The original tennis pointer from MSV – developed for better timing, technique and ball feel.

The MSV Tennis Pointer is an innovative wooden racket with a significantly reduced hitting surface. Developed by Jiri Bartos, a tennis coach and technique specialist from the Czech Republic, the Pointer was specifically designed to improve sweet spot contact, footwork, and feel.

Whether you're a child, a recreational player, or a professional, those who regularly train with the Pointer will hit more accurately, play more consistently, and improve their overall stroke technique. It's no coincidence that the MSV Pointer is used in many international tennis academies and by well-known players, including US Open Juniors winner Jonáš Forejtek, Marc-Kevin Goellner, Louis Valentin, and many more.

MSV Padel Pointer

The idea for the MSV Tennis Pointer was born out of frustration – and developed into a training tool used worldwide.

Jiri Bartos , a tennis coach from the Czech Republic, lost a match in 2011, even though his opponent was no better. The reason: too many inaccurate hits outside the sweet spot. He realized that classic rackets provide too little feedback about the quality of the impact.

His solution: a club with an extremely reduced hitting surface, making mistakes immediately noticeable. The first prototype – made of wood by a carpenter – looked more like a wooden spoon. But the principle worked: Control over the impact point was noticeably improved.

Over time, Bartos had more rackets built and tested them with students and fellow coaches – including Jonáš Forejtek, whom he coached from childhood. Forejtek trained regularly with the Pointer and later became a US Open Juniors champion (2019). His successes ensured that the Pointer became increasingly popular.

Today, the MSV Tennis Pointer is used by players worldwide—from children to ambitious talents, professionals, and academies. Bartos himself still uses it in his daily training:

The pointer speaks for itself – it immediately shows whether the shot is accurate or not. Technique, coordination, footwork, even your serve will all improve with it. And if you hit cleanly, you'll even protect your arm in the long run.

With the goal of promoting clean technology at an early age, Bartos also developed a shortened version for children. His philosophy:
What you train properly early on will stay in the game permanently.
